Don Campbell gets busted at the grocery store in the cooking oil Aisle !!!!!!!.

Here I am 44 days of eating healthy, and 27 lbs. lighter, no more double vision, no more dizzy spells, no more daily hearburn , no more 2nd stage diabetes oh yea!
But still the last few times in the grocery store, I found myself rubbing up against the bottles of grease hoping that shiny, gooey stuff would wipe against me. (:>). But it never did.
Well, yesterday at the store, Deb sent me off to get some apples, and off I went, but on the way , I am not sure just why, but I headed right for the Shortening section. As I just looked at first as the shiny, smooth beautiful different sizes and shaped bottles , I started to drool. It wasn’t long and I found myself running my hand on their sleek shapes. And then all at once, I grabbed a gallon jug and tried biting off the cap uncontrolably !! Lucky for me that at that moment Deb and the Store manager came running down the isle and Yelled !! DON !! PUT DOWN THE GALLON OF CRISCO !!!!!!!
At first, I froze , knowing I had been busted !!, I tried thinking of an excuse, but Deb snapped a few pictures for future use as evidence.
I am happy to say I have learned my lesson and it will be a while before Deb lets me wander by the Grease Aisle alone again ha,ha,ha.
Other than that, we are doing great !!, on our healthy eating !!!
Screen Plant Progress- Hopefully by tonight the building will be done. I got a list of other Mon. projects going too.
I will post the picture of the Cat machine tomorrow I should start Wed.

SUNDAY MORNING - Deb and I slept in a little this morning , then we headed out for our first 3 mile walk. It feels a lot like fall and the leaves are falling , partially because of fall and partly because of the dry summer .
Deb and I are getting closer to going to see Nicole and Bill in Wash. D.C. and also going to Va. Beach and to Norfolk to see the shipyard. I’ll probably get home and want to build a model of a air craft carrier about 10 feet long, ha,ha.
Deb and I are eating 100% healthy on day 43. We are really getting thinner . My 2nd stage diabetes is now all but gone too. I am now almost a perfect specimen again in just 43 days, LOL !!
Tomorrow I will finish the Austin-Western Screen Plant Model and could get it sanded and primed . Tues. I will paint it and also get started on the next order. I will post the picture tomorrow of my next model project for . I already have the design and patterns done.
THANKING GOD ON THIS SUNDAY MORNING-
As I set here at the computer with the sun shining in the window , I think Deb and I do not have much in life, we don’t go on exotic vacations ,
we don’t wear expensive clothes, or spend much at resturants. What we do have is a very simple, happy , laid back , relaxing life with a daughter that is very happy.
People must see us walking everyday together talking and see we are very close. They see us laughing and having fun and see we really are best friends and we do enjoy being together each day.
We have never wanted to be rich, just make enough to pay the bills and have a few dollars left for a rainy day.
I hear so many Christians talk about Heaven and the Gold streets and Silver the big palaces and on and on.
My idea of Heaven is to be with Deb and Nicole and Bill and my mom and stepdad for eternity in the country in a little cabin with a little garden with a little stream by it.
The weather would always be the perfect temperature. There would be no cars or smog, no money , we would just live enjoying our garden and the wildlife for food. We would never get sick and there would be no sorrow. That is my idea of Heaven, not Gold !
I am very thankful to God this Sunday morning that I am living today very happy with Deb and our little life together. I thank God everyday for another day together. I thank God everyday for Nicole and Bill and their Christian lives together. Money and Gold are the last thing that I think of being in Heaven. I am so lucky to be married to my best friend all these years. (:>). I know several poor people who are much happier than rich people. Sometimes ( less is more ) and I am happy to say in my case , that is very true. (:>)

CON-EXPO- I have always wanted to make the trip to Las-Vegas to the Construction Equipment EXPO- To walk around and see the latest and greatest machines of this time would just have my head spinning. Here is a picture of Mikey standing next to a pull type Miskin Scraper, which is one of the smaller machines at the show.
