Don Campbell with daughter Nicole or Tom Cruise look-a-like, ha,ha ; with those aviator glasses.
Don and Nicole Campbell from Otsego County- Here is another picture of Nicole , Deb and I making memories in Belleview Park up in Soo, Canada . We used to take Nicole their once each summer so she could see what it was like to go to another country. We always went to a party store and bought pop and candy that we never saw before to remind us how things were so different in Canada, ha,ha.
LOSING WEIGHT ; DAY 14 UPDATE- Today is day 14 for Deb and I and we were up early walking our first 3 miles. Then we went to the local farm market and bought fresh carrots, cabbage and tomatos.
We are starting to get into the new routine now and feeling less deprived of junk food. Veggies are pretty boring compared to chips and pop , but the good outweighs the bad. It is still not easy, we just focus on today otherwise it is still very overwhelming. No Resturants- We have banned resturants from our weekly visits as they have very few , if any healthy choices. You have three main choices, Grease, sugar and salt. And it is hard to pay $20.00 plus the tip for veggies in a resturant. In just two weeks we are seeing progress and each day we are getting just a little more energy back. We are just feeling like we are starting to wake up after being on drugs . It’s very strange when you eliminate junk food from the daily routine how it changes a person for the better. We are getting closer to our first goal of 21 days.
I said a couple weeks ago how time is flying by as I get older, well , I tell you what, the last two weeks have CRAWLED BY !!, so if you want to slow time down, go on a healthy food kick , ha,ha. Seems like we been doing this for a whole year and it’s only been 14 day(:<).
Michigan 675 Bucket teeth progress- The picture below this one shows the real bucket that I am now working on for the model.

Don Campbell with Russ , the owner of one of the last working Michigan 675 Loaders in the world.
Michigan 675 bucket teeth and spill guard getting built for the model today. - I have the teeth almost done and the spill guard and the screen parts are cut out . This afternoon I will get the bucket done.
Deb took this picture on the day we went to see the real 675 loader. Russ is standing next to me and he is the owner of it. This is the third time he bought it back. I guess he loves this old machine.
Have a nice Sat.

Don Campbell builds the four lift cylinders for the Michigan 675 loader.
DON AND DEBBIES FAT REPORT UPDATE- Well, we are on day 13 and all is well at our house in the losing weight department. We are getting closer to our first goal of 21 days. Twenty one days is when you start knowing your changing your eating habits and accepting it as more normal. 21 days is still a long ways to go and we will concentrate on just one day at a time, baby steps.
We are past the crabby stage and feeling better each day . Deb said she could already see me losing the bloated look and I told Deb last night in bed after a little playful wrestling , she was feeling better, ha,ha, LOL !!
I am getting more energy because in the last week I hand waxed my truck, the Vette , and Deb’s Cadillac. Next week I’ll wax the three tractors. Deb said after that, I can wax her floors, (:<).
Deb’s blood pressure continues to get closer to normal again.
It’s amazing how we feel so good when we eat good, but it is so hard to do. There is no secret pills to take as they suggest on TV, it’s just willpower and common sense. My goal is to lose 30 lbs. and that is very realistic. But for now, it’s just today we need to focus on.
MICHIGAN 675 LOADER LIFT ARMS- This next progress picture shows I have built and installed the four cylinders that raise and lower the loader bucket arms. Next I will go back and work on the bucket. It still gets a tapered cutting edge, and the front row of cutting teeth. It also get the spill guard on top of the bucket. You can slowly see the loader take shape. I am happy so far at the early look of the loader.
PICTURE FROM THE PAST - If you look at the picture below this one, you can see me at the controls of a one horsepower unit.
