Here is a picture I took of Deb and Nicole at Moms Pie Shop. We each had a piece last night after supper and It was delicious!!.
This morning we are heading into D.C. to check out the Cherry Blossoms as they are in full bloom. We want to walk along the Potomic River near Regan International Airport and the Pentagon . Then we are going to Old Town Alexandria as Nicole wanted to look in a few shops there. I will post more pictures later today of our trip into the city. Things will be hopping more than normal this week as this is a very big tourist week in D.C. with the Cherry Blossom Festival going on .

DON CAMPBELL FINDS THE BEST RIBS IN THE D.C. AREA AT THE MIGHTY MIDGET KITCHEN IN LEESBURG, VA.

I have been a professional eater for many years now , and I have worked hard at it. When we go on our little adventures, we always look forward to trying new eating places. I am not fussy, and it is very rare I would complain about my food. If it is not good, I just won’t go back. This afternoon Nicole surfed the internet and looked up several Wash.D.C. barbecue Rib joints. We tried one called Willards. And it was just ok. We got a half of a slab and the three of us each had two ribs. I will not go back as it was just ok. Then we tried the next place on the list and it was EVERYTHING I had been looking for!! We bought a whole slab and the three of us each had two ribs and brought the rest home. It had the 9 hours of real wood smoky flavor and it had the perfect burnt crunch and the perfect tenderness and the perfect seasoning. I’m DEFINATELY hooked on the Mighty Midget Kitchen. After winning 6 times in the D.C. area for rib cooking, I now know why. umm , umm Good !!! Our search for ribs in this area is over and I have to say goodby to Famous Daves and Willards. Be sure to look at the two pictures below this one of us at the Mighty Midget Kitchen.   We also stopped at the Famous ( MOMS PIE SHOP ) and brought a fresh strawberry,rubarb pie back for us to eat , (:>). There goes my perfect buff body, LOL
