Komatsu 575A Super Dozer brand new being assembled

Here is the first of several pictures Larry Langford sent me yesterday of one of the Komatsu 575A Super Dozers like he he operated for many years being assembled on sight . He also spent several years on Cat D-11’s and Cat 994 Loaders. Sounds like a lot of fun in the dirt, ha,ha. There is a second picture below this one . This angle shows how the front nose of the dozer looks with out the monster blade mounted to it. This was a picture I needed to help build the model. Larry also sent many pics of to help me on the latest project. I will post more of them as I build the model.
Komatsu 575A 1/12th scale model- I am still working on the first track frame and should get it done this afternoon.
TWO DEGREES - It was nippy here again today with 2 degrees this morning in Gaylord.

PIERCE FINAL ASSEMBLY HEAVY RESCUE VEHICLES IN APPLETON, WIS.

Here is a picture Lynn sent me yesterday from his recent trip to Appleton, Wis. to pick up their newest Pierce Vehicle.
Pierce is North Americas leading fire and rescue apparatus manufacturers. Lynn has made the trip several times from the state of Wash. to drive home new equipment.
Pierce just landed a contract with the U.S. Army for 51 TFFT vehicles, ( TacticalFirefighterTrucks. ) for 37 million dollars. The picture below this one shows how they will look.
One of the newest features in the modern trucks is front air bags.
The closest vehicle in the picture will be heading out to Boston, Mass.
SNOWY/BLIZZARD TODAY IN GAYLORD- We are getting high winds, snow and freezing rain today, not to nice out compared to yesterdays spring like temps at 34 degrees and the sun shining.
KOMATSU 575A SUPER DOZER- I am back in the shop today working on the first track frame , I have the ten bogie wheel assemblies together for the first side.
