This picture of Nicole was taken this week in Margaritaville as her and Bill enjoyed a second cruise this year.
I listen to our local radio station everyday in my workshop . Every Fri. about five o’clock they play the song, ( IT’S FIVE OCLOCK SOMEWHERE) with Jimmy Buffet. . I usually reach over to the radio and crank up the volume and get jiggy with it, and I and have gotten to really like the song , especially knowing it’s Five o’clock on a Fri. in my workshop ! , and time to quit and enjoy the weekend with Deb.
So I thought this was a cool picture of Nicole that Bill took . They said other than the boat rocking and rolling with the pool water spilling out of the pool in the rough seas and the plane ride from Miami a little rough , they had another great vacation.
I’m sure Nicole will post more pics from their trip on her webpage .
Thanksgiving Day- We had a fun day with the family and we all ate too much. Deb and I have the next three days off so we will go have some fun together with the mild weather we’re having.
We have all our Christmas shopping done, so we don’t have to fight the holiday crowds. The picture below shows Bill by the cool boat they just spent the week on.

Here is a picture of Nicole’s husband Bill. Nicole and Bill just  did another cruise get away from Wash. D.C.  Bill has got four deer so far , but this week his hunting was limited to coconuts, ha,ha. I’m sure he will head back out to the hunting property to do more deer hunting today or tomorrow. Here is a picture of the boat they spent this week on to the Carribeaan .

This picture is one Deb took of me sitting inside this walking dragline sitting on top of a mountain enjoying it’s retirement years. Sitting in the operators seat staring at the controls and guages , I could almost imagine what it must have been like to operate it. It’s actually quite small compared to the one Deb and I did get to spend time in and ,it was , busy at work. Looking straight down in the cab to the gaping hole below us and watching the 35 yard bucket dig away towards the next layer of coal was just awesome! Deb was less excited , but I was happy she climbed in the machine and shared my excitement with me. Also I have got to climb all over another awesome shovel and could have had it started to see it in action, but it would have taken one hour to warm it up and get it charged up. And I did get to get in the seat and actually operate the Terex RH-200 front shovel with the 33 yard bucket They let me play in six and a half Million Dollar Machine!! Don’t tell anyone they let me do that, ha,ha.
I will never forget these moments with Deb. Even though she is not as excited, she is very excited for me. Thanks everyone for your kindness in the past and thanks in advance of those of you that continue to invite us places in the future to see more awesome machines. It’s hard to believe making models has opened so many interesting doors and has given me a opportunity to meet so many nice people. It’s very important that I thank those who do go out of their way for me. Seems many times we take things for granted. This webpage has become a daily part of my life and I enjoy sharing my projects and my family and our little adventures very much. But last but not least I want to thank Nicole who continues to help me out when things on the computer go bad. Thanks again Nicole, your a great daughter. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE , have a great day with the ones you love.
